이 빌딩은 성수대교 길에 있는 빌딩이다. 사진에서 느낄 수 있듯이 다른 빌딩들과는 전혀 다른, 색다른 느낌을 주고 있는데, 이 빌딩에 대해서 글을 쓰는 이유는 오직 하나이다. 건축적인 면에서 저 창문들이 실용적일까? 짧은 생각을 해봤지만, 저 창문들로 햇빛을 받아 일종의 에너지를 생성하고 있는 것일까? 만약 내가 이런 디자인의 빌딩을 짓게 된다면, 디자인만큼 기능도 특이한 빌딩을 짖고 싶다. 예를 들어 위에서 말했듯이 저 돌출된 창문들로 빛을 모아서 에너지를 만들 수도 있을 것 같다. 환경오염문제가 심각한 현실인 만큼 환경을 중요시 여기는 건축이 필요한 시대이다. 디자인만을 내세워 주변의 환경을 헤친다면, 그것은 21세기 건축에서는 최악의 건축물로 뽑힐 것이 분명하다.
This building is located at the Sung-soo bridge road. The reason why I'm writting about this building is because I'm very curious about that extraordinary design of the windows. As you can see in the pictures, they are definitely windows but they don't look efficient at all. It is just my short think, but i suppose they are for solar power. As the world is having big problems with the environment, it is really important to build something that can interact with the environment. When i grow up and become a great architect, then I will build environment-friendly buildings.
