내가 그린 담임 선생님의 얼굴이다. 미술시간에 직접 사진을 찍고, 반은 4b연필로만 명암을 넣어서, 다른 한쪽은 색연필로 명암을 넣어서 그려야 했던 작품이다.
오늘 국립 서울 과학관을 가서 (뉴욕 자연사 박물관의 기후변화 체험전)을 다녀왔다. 그곳에서는 단순한 날씨에 대한 것들만 있던 것이 아니다. 18c 산업혁명이 일어나면서, 점차 지구 온난화가 시작되었으며, 지금 우리는 점차 다가오는 위기를 맞고 있다. 많은 건축가들이 조금이나마 지구온난화를 없애기 위해, 자신의 건축물에 지구 온난화의 주 원인인 CO2(이산화탄소)를 흡수할 수 있는 풀, 나무들을 심으려고한다.
위 2번째 사진은 건축물의 벽면에 식물을 심으므로서 예술적 감각을 돋보이게 하고, 또한 지구 온난화도 막을 수 있기 때문에 익석 이조인 샘이다. 전 30년동안 인간의 생활모습을 그대로 유지한다면, 인류는 곧 지구 온난화로 인해 멸망하고 말 것이다. 하지만 개개인의 노력이 합쳐져, 단체, 국가, 세계로 넓혀지면서 결국 인류는 지구 온난화를 극복할 것이다.
Today, I went to Seoul National Science Museum which is having an exhibition of New York Natural History Museum related to the climate change. It was not only the weather that was in the exhibition.
After the Industrial Revolution of 18th century, the global warming has been growing and we are facing significant dangers. Many architectures plant grass and trees with their buildings to reduce the CO2 level which is a major cause of the global warming. The 2nd photo is a case that one planted grass on the wall of the building which grants the beauty and the environmentally friendly quality.
If humans keep the current way of life, we are going to destroy the earth and ourselves. However, if individuals' effort come together, it can be spread to groups, countries, and the world which will allow us to defeat the global warming.
처음으로 서울 시내를 돌아다니면서 마음에 드는 건물들의 사진을 찍기 시작했다. 이 건물은 혜화동에 있는 건물로, 서울 여자대학교의 건물이였다. 사진에서 볼수 있듯이, 건물의 겉 부분이 다른 건물들과 차별되는 것을 쉽게 알수 있다. 벽돌도, 대리석도 아닌, 알록 달록한 저것들은 문짝이다. 여러 가지 문짝들이 나란히 붙혀 있으므로서 색다른 느낌을 주는 것이다.
문짝의 종류중에는 미닫이문, 장농문, 일반적인 방문을 포함해 여러가지들이 있었다. 딱딱한 도심속에서 이런 건물을 봄으로서, 눈의 피로도가 풀리고, 마음또한 상쾌해 지는 이유는 무엇일까? 다만 아쉬운 점이 있다면, 저 문들을 고정이시키 위해, 안쪽에 철근을 사용하고 있는데 코너에 삐죽삐죽 튀어나온 것을 보면, 왠지 공사중인 느낌이 든다는 것이다. 저 부분을 잘라내므로서 깔끔하게 보이고, 더욱더 완성도를 높였으면...하는 생각이 든다.

Doors with various colors give very different impression. They are numerous kinds of doors, such as sliding doors, closet doors, and just ordinary room doors.
I wonder what is the reason why I feel so fresh and my eyes are relieved when I look at those doors in the city. One thing that is not attractive is the iron bars that are used to hold the doors. They are visible, so it looks like it is still under a construction. I feel like the completeness of the building will be improved if one cuts those iron bars.
