티셔츠 디자인 & 한옥 모형 만들기

학교에서 실기평가로 유명한 화가의 그림을 패러디해서 직접 아크릴 물감으로 흰색 티셔츠에 그린 것이다.

이 작품은 Keith Haring의 작품을 패러디 한것이다. 꿈속에서 똥을 밟으면 억수로 운이 좋은 것이라고 해서 생각해본 디자인이다. 그림 자체가 변한것은 바닥이 똥으로 뒤 덮혀 있다는 것밖에 없다. 하지만 실제 그림의 색은 하나도 사용하지 않고 나 자신만의 독특함을 표현하기위해서 상체부터 밝은색으로 시작해서, 하체는 결국 어두운 색으로 색을 칠함으로서 보기에 굉장히 안정되 보인다. 배경또한, 여러가지 색을 섞었는데, 사람의 색보다는 물을 더 섞어서, 흐릿하게 만드므로서 배경이라는 인식이 조금이나마 잘 되도록 하였다.

This T-shirt is what i drew for the school project. The assignment was to imitate a drawing from any famous artists, and I choose Keith Haring's. It was not easy to come up with a good idea. I tried to find an idea for a while.

Finally, i decided to draw a man who stepped on a excrement because many people say it brings a good luck when we step on a excrement in a dream. After i colored this shirt, i showed my art class teacher and he said "it's amazing!" and i got A+ for this work.

엄마에게 부탁해서 사온 조립식 기와집이다. 맨처음 엄마가 사왔을떄는 오로지, 나무 조가리와, 기와를 표현하고 있는 고무가 전부였다. 이것을 만드는데 꼬박 7일이 걸렸다. 학원을 갔다와서 매일 30분에서 1시간씩 만들었다. 맨처음 기와집의 뼈대를 만드는 데에는 많은 시간이 걸리지 않았고 흥미로움또한 대단했다. 하지만 뼈대를 완성한뒤, 문에 한지를 오려 붙이고, 손잡이를 만들고, 벽에다가 문을 고정시키는 일이 너무나도 힘들었었다.

점점 진행속도가 느려지는가 싶더니, 이틀동안은 손도 대지 않다 싶이 했었다. 하지만 다시 마음을 고쳐먹고, 사이즈에 맞게끔 기와고무를 오려서 붙이기 시작했다. 양심적으로 말하자면, 기와를 붙이는 시간과, 저 뼈대를 만드는 시간이 거의 맞 먹었다. 기와를 얹기 전, 그 것을 지탱 할 수 있게끔 얇은 나무 막대 120개를 촘촘히 기와가 얹혀질 곳에 붙여야 했다. 이 사진이 마침내 모든 것을 완성하고 찍은 사진이다. 왼쪽에 있는 부엌 문은 열리고 닫힐 수 있게끔 만들었다. 그 밖의 문들은 열린 상태나, 닫힌 상태로 고정 시켰다.

This is a kit of a Korean traditional house. I asked my mom to buy it after i saw it in the magazine. Everything inside of the box was pieces of woods and a constructing manual. It was very easy to make the base structure. All i needed to do was glue the woods to the plate and hold wall paper between two pillars. However, when i finished this work, i started losing interest because putting a tile was very hard and a delicate job. I spent almost same time that i spent making a base structure. After 7 days, i finally finished it.

I believe that tile-roofed house, a type of Korean traditional house is a good place to live in because every part of the house is made of natural material such as woods and soil. Therefore, it helps keeping it cooler than other houses in summer and keeping it warmer in winter.
